Kapa Haka

Hi I'm Bramm and last week we had Kapa Haka, if you don't know what Kapa Haka is that ok because I'll explain it to you. It's more of a religion because Maori used the Kapa Haka in war to scare their opponent or something like that. Over all I reckon we don't pretty good. Bye

Green Team at Ilminster/play

Vom vom, went the bus as we were going to Ilminster to watch the play, finally we arrived went the play started there were two baby crayfish were getting told a story from Nana cray and a Kina. They got told that they had to go to bed but one asked for another story when the other one was asleep Nana cray and Kina ok "but one more only" said nana clay. Nana cray told story of how she told aliens to stop littering. 

So once upon time there was some kids chilling at the skatepark then one had lollies and they litter and didn't pick up the rubbish. Then they left and aliens came and they want to build a rubbish dump it was the perfect place to make the rubbish dump then they left leaving robot behind.

The kids from before were back and they found the robot, the robot told them that they were going to build a rubbish dump on the skate park. They didn't know want to do so they ask nana clay for help. The kids and nana clay told the robot to summon alien queen so he did, the alien queen through nana cray was an alien and she listened to not build the dump on earth and to learn how recycle.

         

Speeches part 2

To update you on the speeches I didn't get into the finally's ,but here's my speech anyway. INTRODUCTION At least 5 quality sentences outlining your opinion Hi I am Bramm and today I am explaining why you should play fortnite. If you don’t know what Fortnite is, it's an online video game that is very popular with roughly 80. 4 million players. Can we add a few more to that? I reckon that's possible. REASON 1 Why do you think this way? You can get it on PC, macOS, PlayStation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices. When you are bored of playing board games on a rainy day you can hop on fortnite. EXPLANATION Explain your reason further: facts, quotes etc Every few months there is a new season. Right now we are on chapter 2 season 8, which might be the last season of chapter 2 but I’m not shore. REASON 2 Why do you think this way? Another good thing about Fortnite is that you can talk to your friends. Do you want to hear a joke? What do you call Fortnite with cows? Answer: A cattle royale. EXPLANATION Explain your reason further: facts, quotes etc In fortnite the basic gamemodes solos, duos, Trios and squads and there’s tons more. If you feel these gamemode are too easy you can challenge yourself by playing Arena. REASON 3 Why do you think this way? In fortnite there are also cups for example hype cup, cash cup and sometimes you get a new icon skin cup. So with the hype cup you get money the same with the cash cup but you have to do good, but with the icon cup you can get the icon skin if you do good. EXPLANATION Explain your reason further: facts, quotes etc Another cool thing that you can do in fortnite is that you can hop in creative and do whatever your heart designs. For example you can build a house and you can practice getting better. CONCLUSION Restate your opinion Again - 1 or 2 paragraphs; no new information Could you just give fortnite go. High modality and Low modality words

 A few days ago we had a lesson about high modality words and low modality words. For example high modality words can be definitely and always but low modality can be not really and unlikely. Thanks for reading my blog bye.

On term 4 week 3 we are have having speeches everyone is preparing their speeches, so far 

I've basically haven't done anything after this blog post I'm probably gonna get right to it.

For my speech I am going to do why you should play fortnite.

If you wondering why I did that topic it was because it was the first topic that I could

Jean Batten Day

 

Last week, we were learning about Jean Batten, an inspiring kiwi pilot. 

She was the first female to fly from England to Australia. It took about five tries, but on her fifth time she finally made it! 

On a Tuesday morning the bell rang like normal, but instead of going into the classroom, we went in the hall. I totally forgot all about the Jean Batten Day we were having this week. At the start we all got put into teams. Once we all got put into teams all our group got a clue. 

We were the 2nd group to finish the clue. The next clue, we had to communicate from other ends of the hall, but we couldn't talk, so we had to use hand signals. It didn't work the way the teacher wanted, so we ended up shouting across the hall. 

That went on till morning tea went. When we got back from morning tea, we had to make paper airplanes. There were three things we could do, including flight distant to see how far your plane could go and try to hit the target and try to go through the hula hoop. I made a bad paper plane, so I didn't hit any targets.

That brought us into lunch, after lunch we had to try make a working plane. They only ended up spinning in circles. Over all it was a good day.         

Priorities

Every week our class gets given a sheet of priorities to do. So far I've finished 4 tasks and about to be five when I finish this. I've done my quick write,  2 workshops, 4 gems on math whizz. How you do a quick write is you do one of the story starters at the moana learning hub site on mlml which stands for my learning my light, then you get started.
